The Teen 3 Apples Book Award has been developed to encourage the joy of reading for pleasure, and to give the teens of New York State the opportunity to participate in honoring their favorite books.
Each year teens in grades 7-12 (ages 13+) nominate their favorite book, creating a statewide ballot of fifteen of the most popular titles.
Nominations for the 2010 Teen 3 Apples Book Award are underway. Pick up a ballot at the Young Adult Services Desk to nominate your favorite. All nominations must be returned to the YA Librarians by October 20th.
Previous winners:
2009 TWILIGHT by Stephenie Meyer
2008 A CHILD CALLED IT by David Pelzer
SO PICK UP A NOMINATION FORM AND LET YOUR FAVORITE READ BE RECOGNIZED.
