YA Book Review: Inherit Midnight by Kate Kae Myers

Inherit Midnight is about a girl who has to solve clues to inherit her family business. She lives with her grandmother who runs the competition. She is competing against her other relatives. Her relatives want to sabotage her chances of winning the competition. On her journey she learned about her family’s past. In the end she may or may not get what she wants but, the greatest outcome of this competition was that she learned about herself. I liked this book because it has adventure and mystery combined into one book. A similar book would be 39 clues. I would recommend this book to middle schoolers.
